The indie adventure game “Chasing the Unseen” was officially released today and is now available on Steam.
“Chasing the Unseen” is a single-player adventure game that invites players to climb colossal creatures and explore surreal landscapes generated using fractal math. It draws inspiration from beloved titles like Journey and Shadow of the Colossus, offering an experience that balances serene exploration with bursts of thrilling challenge. With its focus on non-violent gameplay, “Chasing the Unseen” is an introspective journey, emphasizing immersion over combat and grinding. The game has been nominated in three categories at Indie Cup Canada’23, including “Most Anticipated Game.” It was a finalist at the Game Development World Championship and has been featured in over 12 festivals, such as EGX LeftField, SXSW, The Mix, and gaming outlets like IGN, Edge, Eurogamer, Kotaku, Rock Paper Shotgun, Polygon, and The Escapist.
