The rain eases just long enough for the developers to share some plans for their hit roguelite city builder

Hooded Horse is excited to share details on the immediate roadmap for Eremite Games’ best-selling dark fantasy roguelite city-building game  Against the Storm. The new roadmap reveals plans for the next two patches, as well as ideas for future DLC.

Fresh from the recent 1.1 update, the development team at Eremite Games has decided to share an early look at what’s to come across the first handful of updates. At least two new major patches are planned, and the team is also committed to releasing DLC later this year.

Update 1.2,  the next free patch, will include unique art for world events, localization support for Spanish-speaking Latin American countries, Blightpost upgrades, and new windows to help track trends across city production and consumption. There will also be a 1.3 update later this year, although the heavy rainfall and thick foliage currently obscure the details.

In terms of DLC, the team has put forward the following items that they’ll be exploring over the coming months:

  • More playable species
  • An additional biome
  • New buildings, events, perks, and orders

We’ll have more news to share regarding the specific nature and composition of Against the Storm DLC at a later date. You read more details regarding roadmap here.
