Ubisoft confirmed tonight that you play as an exiled Spartan in Assassins Creed Odyssey, Includes Vesuvius and players play as the blade of Leonidus.
Assassins Creed Odyssey looks like it will be blending together much of Origins with Black Flag and also Syndicate with the dual characters and ship combat. Unlike Syndicate whichever character you choose, you play as for the entire game as opposed to the half and half nature of Syndicate.
We have been shown some very early gameplay which makes us feel that no matter whichever character you choose it won’t REALLY make all that much difference. Being agent Greece it obviously blends in with Socrates and has added… (shudders) conversation options during cut scenes.
Full gameplay sequence was also shown. It looked fine, again it looks like much more of the same from Assassins Creed Origins.
Assassins Creed Odyssey will release October 5th.
