Since E3 way back in 2015, we’ve been excited for the release of Shenmue 3. The Action-Adventure game is being developed by Neilo and Ys Net and being headed up by series creator Yu Suzuki. Its already been over 17 years since the last instalment of Shenmue released on the Dreamcast, but now you’ve got to wait that little bit longer. The publisher, Deep Silver, has announced today that the game window “has been moved and will now release in 2019”. They also said, “The extra time will be used to polish the quality of the game even further, to the high standards it deserves and release the product in the best possible timeframe”. Just means you’ll need to hold your anticipation just that little bit longer.
