Kage, a demonic new edition to the Street Fighter 5 Roster, is available now as a part of Season 4.
Kage is the embodiment of the power that once turned Ryu into a villain back in Street Fighter Alpha 2, essentially being the returning character simply dubbed “Evil Ryu”, except with a new coat of paint.
Kage‘s presence in the world is as a manifestation of the Satsui no Hado, a dark energy that grants power to characters like Akuma, and the Antithetical force to the Mu no Ken, or ‘Power of Nothingness’, which is the energy Ryu and his Mentor Gouken use in combat.
Kage is the first character of Season 4 and was announced at the HyperX Esports Arena by Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono.
