Crossout launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment announce the launch of the post-apocalyptic Action MMOG Crossout, available beginning today as a free download on Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Craft your own vehicle
Crossout allows players to craft never seen vehicles using anything Earth’s vast post-apocalyptic wastelands offer. There are a countless number of parts available for vehicle customization, from trusty objects of the past, like rusty doors, chainsaws, and cabins from old cars, to the ingenious inventions of a new generation of engineers that grew up in the post-apocalyptic world, such as combat drones, stealth generators, automatic cannons, and much more. Complete creative freedom without class restriction allows for the creation of vehicles that are as individual as their creators, perfectly suited to their preferred style of play.
Join a faction that fits your style
The world of Crossout is home to distinct factions players can join, each with a different way of life and combat style. Examples are the raging ‘Lunatics’, a loose group of individuals that prefer fast cars and close-quarters combat, or the ‘Nomads’, enigmatic characters that wander the wastes in the search of new technology. Today’s launch marks the release of a fifth faction, the ‘Steppenwolves’ – former military armed with a tactical approach, well-armoured vehicles, and long-range cannons. They add even more parts to the game, including mechanical legs that allow the creation of massive artillery platforms. In the future, fans can look forward to the release of addition factions with unique mechanics, armaments, and items.
Experience different game modes and maps
The battles in Crossout will take players to many different corners of the wastelands, starting from abandoned factories to dried-up riverbeds and destroyed cities. For launch, fans can enjoy new environments such as desert landscapes, deep canyons, and fortified settlements, where players will face exciting PvP action and PvE missions. In their quest for resources and dominance, players will attack settlements, defend merchant convoys from raiders, destroy oil rigs or try to defeat Leviathans, gigantic monsters of steel created by other players. In between battles, players can take a break in the new ‘Race’ mode. It is a downhill race for first place without the use of weapons.
Take part in a player controlled economy
There are several ways to earn the parts you need to create your perfect vehicle in Crossout. Earn loot in PvP battles or PvE missions, craft new equipment with the help of your faction, or purchase the desired weapons and car parts on the open in-game market, where supply and demand is entirely controlled by the players themselves. Earn coins to use in the market by selling surplus loot and resources, or restock your balance through the game’s store. Every player will be able to craft the perfect armoured vehicle as there are no items exclusively available for real money that influence a player’s performance in game.
Join the never ending battle today, and fight for your famed spot in the post-apocalyptic world of Crossout. Learn more about the game on the official website at http://crossout.net/

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE NAPALM – RISING STORM 2: VIETNAM OUT TODAY ON THE STEAM STORE
Tripwire Interactive is pleased today to announce the release of Rising Storm 2: Vietnam on PC. The highly-anticipated sequel to the smash hit Rising Storm hits the Steam store at 10:00AM Pacific Time today, and though the Standard Edition will normally be available for $24.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition priced at $29.99, both editions are 10% off through June 6.
Check out the new Rising Storm 2: Vietnam launch trailer here: https://youtu.be/YqyeNcNKxXs
“Rising Storm 2: Vietnam has grown out of all we’ve learned over the years in the Red Orchestra franchise. The weapons, the gameplay, the look – all coming together to generate a really immersive, visceral experience that will keep drawing people in.” said Alan Wilson, Product Director for Tripwire. “The AMG crew have all the experience of designing for asymmetric warfare from the first Rising Storm and, this time, we went through multiple beta waves to gather feedback from the players, act on that feedback and really hone the game to what the players wanted. We’ll continue to do that post-release as well, with a series of upcoming updates – new factions, new gameplay and more. As always with Tripwire, it will be free to everyone who owns the game.”
In addition to the first week sale, early players of Rising Storm 2: Vietnam will also be lucky enough to enjoy double XP for the first week of release. The Shake and Bake Double XP launch promotion will run through June 6 as well, and grant all owners of the game double experience points as they play during the first week of the game’s release.
“At Antimatter Games we’re immensely proud of the work we’ve done on Rising Storm 2,” said Jack Hackett, Producer at Antimatter Games. “We’ve taken what we learned from the first Rising Storm and blended that with the unique opportunities that the Vietnam setting offers to create something that we think is truly special. It’s been a fun journey, and we’re grateful to Tripwire for trusting us to put a fresh spin on the series.
“Of course, we couldn’t do it without the support and feedback of our fantastic community,” Hackett continued. “They’ve already helped shape the game throughout the Beta, and I can’t wait to see them take it even further with mods and custom maps after release.”
Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is developed by Antimatter Games and published by Tripwire Interactive for PC.
You Be the JYDGE In 10tons’ Upcoming Top-Down Shooter For Steam and Consoles
Independent game developer 10tons Ltd. announced today JYDGE, an upcoming top-down twin stick shooter. Set in the same universe as 10tons’ 2016 hit Neon Chrome, JYDGE sees the player assume the role of a cybernetically enhanced law enforcement unit eradicating rampant crime in the futuristic metropolis of Edenbyrg.
“While Neon Chrome has been a great success for us, we quickly learned that procedurally generated levels and roguelike elements are not for everyone. We’ve built JYDGE specifically for people preferring a carefully hand-crafted yet highly customizable top-down shooter. We call this a roguehate game.” said Tero Alatalo, CEO of 10tons.
JYDGE is a top-down shooter where the player gets to build a cybernetic JYDGE and fight crime in the never-sleeping megacity of Edenbyrg. The augments selected by the player, as well as modifications to the Gavel rifle, and the selection of companion drones greatly alters how the game is played. Playstyles from heavy assault to stealth to extensive drone use and more are possible.
In addition to extensive customization, JYDGE features a large amount of missions and secondary challenges. For example, a level’s primary mission might be to deal with a gang of bank robbers. Secondary challenges might include rescuing all hostages, completing the level in less than 30 seconds, and completing the primary mission without being seen.
Completing missions and secondary challenges awards medals, which in turn unlock new cybernetic enhancements, weapon modifications, special weapons, missions, and more.
