Activision and Treyarch unveil a surprise 5th DLC pack for Call of Duty Black Ops 3: Zombies Chronicles, releasing May 16th first on PS4!
Late yesterday, Treyarch Zombies Lead, Jason Blundell, unveiled that Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will be obtaining a 5th DLC pack separate from the Season Pass – This 5th DLC, entitled “Zombie Chronicles”, includes 8 classic remastered Zombies maps from Call of Duty Zombies: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
You can experience the remastered zombie collection and experience the undead story first on PS4, releasing May 16th.
Zombie Chronicles includes:
- 3 maps from Call of Duty: World at War: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt and Shi No Numa
- 4 maps from Call of Duty: Black Ops: Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-la and Moon
- 1 map from Call of Duty: Black Ops II: Origins
- Takeo and Richtofen Calling Cards
- Dempsey and Nikolai Calling Cards
- Zombies Heroes Animated Calling Cards
- Limited Edition Camouflage Tin Can (Trust me, we have no idea either…)
Alongside this reveal, Jason Blundell and the Zombies Team also released the entire timeline diagram of the Call of Duty Zombies lore, spanning across an impressive 8k image, and is being currently transcribed into impressive, hundred-page long transcripts over on /r/CoDZombies! Finally us lore buffs can get the answers we need!
Maps will be a “faithful recreation”, as Blundell says he could’ve “went back in and changed things around”, but he felt it was important to give people the true map forms, “…there’s a couple of little things in there.”, “I felt it was important to give people the authentic experience”. Blundell also mentioned that “This is a special one-off package. I saw the community asking for this for how many years now; and all the pieces kinda lined up.”
The price of this DLC is currently unknown.
THE RISEN EXILES EXPANSION COMING TO SKYFORGE ON PLAYSTATION 4
Developer Allods Team and global publisher My.com announce that their free to play action MMORPG Skyforge will receive its first expansion for PlayStation 4 this May 16. The Risen Exiles is an entirely free expansion adding three more classes to the roster and completes the arsenal of playstyle choices for Skyforge’s immortals. Players can experience the deadly power of the Necromancer, balanced strength of the Monk, and dark spells of the Witch while taking on, all new challenges. The Risen Exiles will add a scaling endgame zone to explore in the Tacid Dunes region of Aelion and dungeons to master alone or with friends. Competitive players can ready themselves for larger scale Player versus Player conflicts and those who have organized themselves in Pantheons can now start an all-out war.
The Risen Exiles contains:
- Three classes: Witch, Necromancer, Monk

TERA CELEBRATES FIVE YEARS OF TRUE ACTION COMBAT WITH NEW CONTENT AND MORE
En Masse Entertainment, a player-driven publisher focused on delivering great games and great service, is celebrating the fifth anniversary of their flagship True Action Combat MMORPG, TERA, which launched to critical praise on May 1, 2012 and continues to see strong success with over 26 million registered players from around the world. To mark the momentous milestone, En Masse is activating a broad array of special in-game events throughout the month of May, including the Velik’s Fate content update for the game, which is scheduled to launch on May 9.
Players who log into the game during May receive a free pair of Fifth Anniversary Wings to show off their dedication to TERA. Be sure to log in as these wings will only be available during the event and will not be sold in the game shop!
A brand-new Anniversary Token Shop with a rotating weekly inventory of items not normally available for sale has also been added to the game for the month of May. Anniversary Tokens are earned in-game by participating in PvP battlegrounds and PvE dungeons with different content highlighted each week in the in-game calendar. Players will also have a rare chance to win cosmetic items normally only available in the game’s online store via drops in highlighted PvP battlegrounds and from the final boss in highlighted PvE dungeons.
Rounding out the month of events, TERA Community Manager Sean “Spacecats” Gibbons will be hosting in-game quiz events across all servers throughout the month, rewarding astute fans who correctly answer questions with Anniversary Tokens and other in-game prizes. Players should watch for news posts, in-game announcements, and their welcome window calendar for when Spacecats will be visiting their respective servers for a chance to participate and show off their TERA knowledge!

The Velik’s Fate content update also launches on May 9, bringing two brand-new dungeons, Velik’s Hold and Velik’s Sanctuary, for players to explore. These high-level dungeons feature several challenging opponents, including the new boss, the god Lakan. Players who conquer these new challenges will be rewarded accordingly, with all-new armor and weapon sets!

First Three Injustice 2 DLC Characters Revealed
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today revealed a new trailer showcasing the first three DLC characters for Injustice™ 2 – Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero. Players will be able to battle it out with these iconic fighters from the DC and Mortal Kombat Universes and utilise their unique moves and skill sets when they purchase the Injustice™ 2 Deluxe Edition or Injustice™ Ultimate Edition. Injustice 2 will be available for the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One beginning on the 19th of May. Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero are still in development and will be available for download after the game launches.
