The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ gets new EU Boxed Edition and new content!

We have been quiet for way too long. Players gave us hell for it. And we deserved the beating – it’s just that we didn’t want to communicate again until everything is 100% confirmed. So let’s make up for it in style:

Behind the curtains we have been working hard and we can finally reveal the news: The EU edition of The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ on Nintendo Switch will include extra content almost identical to the Launch Edition of the game in the US. So, do you love us again now? Friends again?

With this said we can also finally(!) fix the release date. Without futher ado, the new shipping date is scheduled for 7th of September of 2017. There you have it.

The Binding of Isaac is a randomly generated action-shooter with heavy RPG and Rogue-like elements. Pixel Heroes – Endless Arcade Runner released!

Independent mobile games developer and publisher Eageron has just unveiled their fourth mobile game: Pixel Heroes – Endless Arcade Runner.

Pixel Heroes – Endless Arcade Runner is an arcade-style Jump and Run in beautiful pixel design. This Auto-Runner is without a doubt one of the most difficult Auto-Runners on the App Stores and is translated smoothly to fit the needs of the mobile market.

The game comes with two different game modes: Story and Survival. While the story mode is level based, the survival mode is endless. In the story mode the player has to reach 100% to unlock the next world. With every world unlocked in the story mode, the endless mode is also unlocked. The ultimate goal of the survival mode is to set a highscore and to fight against others for the top of the leaderboard. In order to achieve this goal the player has to avoid a lot of spikes on his journey through different worlds. The more distance the player travels, the higher his score. The player can collect coins to unlock new unique heroes and use them to restart at checkpoint.

The player can share his highscore via Social Media and show off to this friends. In order to add to the competition aspect the game supports Apple and Google leaderboards.

Pixel Heroes – Endless Arcade Runner is now available for download for free from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store on 3. July, 2017.

The Eldritch Zookeeper – Run a Cursed Zoo, Badly.

Cranktrain is excited to announce their upcoming game The Eldritch Zookeeper, where the player must run a zoo full of Lovecraftian monsters with as little bloodshed as possible!

Watch the inaugural announcement trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DtIjL4u8PY

Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/654960

A down-on-his-luck zookeeper is fired from London Zoo due to certain tendencies arsonist tendencies. Apparently, setting ablaze the Jolly Woodland Creature exhibit is frowned upon. Frowned upon by zoo management, and presumably the woodland creatures themselves, who are decidedly less jolly now.

Taking an interview at the only zoo that would offer him one, our unfortunate zookeeper is deceived by a particularly well-dressed skeleton, and forced to manage a zoo full of otherworldly eldritch abominations. Surrounded by fangs, claws, tentacles can our zookeeper escape his curse?

Everyday a brand new monster appears through the ghastly otherworldly portal that requires housing and feeding, and everyday human guests want to come see them and not get eaten. Build shops, bathrooms and other amenities for the comfort of zoo visitors, and keep the monsters peaceful enough to prevent a zoo-break (also for the comfort of the zoo visitors.)

Taking a mixture of inspiration from classic Bullfrog management games (Theme Park World, Dungeon Keeper) and modern survival games, The Eldritch Zookeeper is coming to a variety of platforms very soon!

The Eldritch Zookeeper is designed and built entirely by Matt Luard. Under the studio name Cranktrain, he previously released the logical puzzler The Cat Machine in 2015, which successfully threw him into full-time indie game development. Collaborating a second time with musician and composer Peter Nickalls, the orchestral soundtrack promises to be amazing.

PAST CURE: Action stealth thriller is back with a stunning new trailer.

PAST CURE, the new action stealth thriller coming from Indie developer Phantom 8 Studio, is back on the screen with a stunning new trailer. Giving tantalizing insight into the story, the trailer also impressively demonstrates that in PAST CURE, action is not just a label: the fighting animations shown are completely motion-captured, having been created in collaboration with professional MMA fighters.

Check out the new PAST CURE trailer here: https://youtu.be/22NY4GZYRnU

There’s also great news for console gamers: in addition to the PC and PlayStation 4 versions already announced, PAST CURE is now set to come to Xbox One. All versions will launch simultaneously in Q4 2017 and will be available both online and in retail stores.

Thrilling stealth missions blurring the line between madness and reality

After his years of being tortured in dark prisons across Europe, ex elite soldier Ian lives in the safehouse of his brother, struggling with the consequences of the military experiments he was put through. They twisted his mind, imbued him with preternatural mental abilities such as time control and telekinesis, and fractured his grip on reality. Driven by hallucinations and his thirst for revenge, Ian enlists his brother’s help as he sets out on a thrilling hunt for the perpetrators of the conspiracy against him, and for the truth underlying his torment. On his missions Ian experiments with his new powers, quickly coming to realize their inherent danger: with each use, his sanity frays a little more, inviting the nightmarish attention of something beyond reality. In pursuit of the men behind his imprisonment, Ian soon realizes that his true enemy may be hiding within his madness. With PAST CURE, indie developer Phantom 8 Studio have successfully combined challenging stealth missions and real-time action sequences. In the world of PAST CURE, two dimensions offer two realities – the waking world, and nightmare – coming together in a game aptly described as ‘Inception meets Fight Club meets John Wick’. PAST CURE will come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in retail and online versions for US$ 29.99/ € 29.99 in Q4 2017.

That’s all for the news today!
