Jalopy’s Turkey Update Released
Jalopy’s Turkey update has arrived. The headline feature for this update is the brand new Turkey route – a fresh environment for players to explore! Take a look at the new trailer here.
In addition, two new pieces of original music have been added into the mix – Jeremy Warmsley’s unique collection of original Jalopy compositions has now been completed with the launch of this update. To celebrate, we’ve now released the official Jalopy Soundtrack on Steam!
Other new features include the tyre repair kit, meaning that players no longer need to replace tyres every time they are damaged. The game’s starring Laika 601 Deluxe now has a randomly generated licence plate for each player, which adhere to real world licensing procedures in the DDR. Players who want to dig a little deeper into their Jalopy’s history can decipher their licence plate to find out more about their in-game Laika.
Last but not least, the Turkey update allows players to drive all the way back home, after completing their road-trip! The Uncle eagerly awaits players’ return home, where this whole journey started…

Marvel Heroes Omega Xbox One Launch Set for June 30
Gazillion today announced that Marvel Heroes Omega launches on June 30, 2017 for Microsoft’s Xbox One, the same date Marvel Heroes Omega on PlayStation 4 transitions out of Open Beta.
Offered as a free download, Marvel Heroes Omega combines the core gameplay of action-RPGs and MMOs with an expansive library of heroes from the Marvel Universe. Take on the role of your favorite characters, including Spider-Man, the Avengers, the Defenders, the Inhumans, the X-Men, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and more! With thousands of hours of character progression, hundreds of costumes, and an ever-growing roster of playable heroes and rewards, Marvel Heroes Omega comes packed with tons of replay value and a steady stream of new challenges coming in regular updates.
Marvel Heroes Omega is a free action-RPG MMO currently in open beta on PlayStation 4 and is scheduled to launch on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 30, 2017.

Medieval Tabletop Inspired RTS Wartile Gets Major Update
Indie development team Playwood Project today announced that Wartile, its visually stunning medieval real time strategy game played out on digital diorama-themed Battle boards, gets its first major content update today in the form of Adventure Pack 0.5.
“This latest update and content package is considerably bigger than 0.4.6.0 and represents the core of the feedback and work we’ve been doing on Wartile since Early Access,” said Michael Rud Jakobsen, Founder and Creative Director of Playwood Project. “This Adventure Pack also introduces a new skirmish mode that we’re very excited to reveal with a whole new Battleboard, in addition to a new mission titled ‘Thors Wrath’, updated UI and reworked art for the card system, as we strive to continually enhance the overall player experience.”
In addition to the new ‘Trail of Tyr’ skirmish game mode which will test players’ combat prowess against waves of attackers, Adventure Pack 0.5 adds a female Viking archer to the ranks, providing a whole new tactical edge to combat and a much sought after community request. ‘Thor’s Wrath’ is an exciting new mission variant with new challenges where players embark on the search for ancient relics connected to Viking Mythology in a revisit to the Heidrun Clan. Trail of Tyr now takes the available number of playable Battleboards in Wartile to 8, with more coming in forthcoming updates.
Other updates and tweaks include brand new art for Ability and Godly cards, which have been revamped with new art and coloured markings so players can distinguish them more clearly. Poisonous toad dust bombs have also been added to the player’s arsenal of deadly assets and, for those keen to get up close and personal, the Viking headbutt will allow players to stun opponents during an attack. Oil Bombs now provide a short based range attack to engage in full on Viking arson, and no Viking rampage would be complete without the healing benefits of alcohol – flasks of medieval Mead can now be consumed by your Viking to provide a small recovery to health.
A 10% discount on Steam and on the Humble Bundle store will also coincide with this latest June update.

Let’s talk stretch goals
Even though extra funding would be amazing, we want to keep focus on the bare minimum needed to bring the game to market. The game is complete as it is, and we don’t want to overload you with additional stretch goals. We would like to share our first stretch goal however, since it benefits all Early Backers*; an upgrade of the standard version of the game, which allows you to play with 3-4 players without requiring a second set! After reaching this goal, the pledge levels will be changed in accordance to the upgraded product and new stretch goals will be revealed (you determine their order!).
* All backers that pledged €25 or more before we reached €10,500.
Anyone who hasn’t pledged yet, and wants a copy of Take The Galaxy, can still do so until the campaign ends on Friday 23rd of June.
DAREWISE ENTERTAINMENT DELIVERS BIGGEST PATCH YET FOR MARTIAN ADAPTIVE SURVIVAL GAME ROKH
Darewise Entertainment and Nvizzio Creations today released the biggest Steam update yet for their game ROKH. The mega-update features new and improved servers for more stability, an in game chat feature, “Salvage” gameplay, and much more. Set on the planet Mars, ROKH features a persistent world and multiplayer co-op where players will explore the Martian way of life.

The ROKH update list of features and improvements includes:
- New Chat Feature
- Allows global and private messages between players
- Salvage feature
- Use your crowbar to break down assembled objects and tools into their component materials
- Server connectivity: players can now connect through Steam Server list or the in-game Server Browse menu
- Starting Hammer Tool
- A helpful tool to get newcomers crafting right away
- Magnetron is now craftable
The update also fixes several bugs, including:
- Fixed server crash relating to the power grid
- Fixed server crash relating to connecting pipes and storage tanks
- Fixed floating or misplaced art assets
- Fixed some backstory items that weren’t interactive
- Doors now remain locked after a server is restarted
- Tile Mold can now be picked up
- The TAB key can now rebound, ALT and CTRL can now be used for combo inputs
- Audio settings are reverted when cancelling the options menu if they were not applied
In ROKH, players must explore the Martian landscape as they scavenge through deserted human structures to gather the resources they need to survive. With few blueprints, players must use their ingenuity to create tools from a variety of materials and construct their own encampments with no design limitations.
ROKH places players on a cold and dry land that harbors a wealth of resources to extract and exploit. Players will explore Mars, paving the way for settlers to come, as Earth’s resources are tapped and the planet is dying. Mars is a hostile planet where joining forces with friends increases efficiency, and invites trade and barter to develop a habitable and customizable ecosystem.

Kholat is a FPP storytelling / experience game with horror elements developed by independent studio IMGN.PRO and inspired by the true events of the “Dyatlov Pass incident”, which took the lives of nine Russian students who went on an expedition in the northern Ural Mountains. The team never reached its goal and the entire crew died in strange circumstances that have yet to be explained. The mystery has given rise to many theories and much speculation. In Kholat, gamers follow their own path, gradually sinking into the hostile environment. There is only one objective – to find out what happened. Everything is tied together by the fantastic narration by Sean Bean.

EXPLORE A DESERT WORLD FILLED WITH MYSTERY IN EVER OASIS, COMING TO NINTENDO 3DS FAMILY SYSTEMS ON 23RD JUNE 2017
A brand new IP that combines action adventure RPG and town management gameplay elements with a visually distinctive art style and emotionally-driven storyline
The new game from Koichi Ishii, the renowned creator of the acclaimed Mana series of RPGs, Ever Oasis will open up a whole new world for players to explore when it launches for Nintendo 3DS family systems on 23rd June 2017. Mr Ishii recently took the time to share some insights into the game’s development process, and the first instalment of his article – The world of Ever Oasis – part 1 – is available to read now. The game can be seen in action in the new Ever Oasis – Overview trailer.
Ever Oasis is a brand new take on the action adventure RPG genre, developed by Grezzo, the team who brought The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D to Nintendo 3DS. Taking the role of a plant-like Seedling, the player must team up with the Water Spirit Esna in order to build a new oasis in the desert – a place of safety and respite in a world threatened by the spread of the life-stealing Chaos. By helping visitors who arrive at the oasis, the player can encourage them to take up residence and set up their own shops known as Bloom Booths. These will generate income and, over time, transform the oasis into a thriving hub of activity. Heroes must also venture out into the desert, to gather valuable resources and uncover the secrets that lie in the many puzzle-filled dungeons throughout the world. New allies may join the adventuring party too, and they’ll be needed, as the taint of Chaos is everywhere, and a host of enemies stand ready to attack our hero in exciting real-time combat.
Tying all of this together is the story, which constitutes the emotional heart of the game. As Mr Ishii explains, “The story has been designed to illustrate the importance of kindness and, at times, to touch the heart.” In his recent article The world of Ever Oasis – part 1, he touched upon this theme again, and how it relates to the character design in-game: “The story of Ever Oasis is all about working with your friends and supporting each other, so we didn’t want to create a hero who could do everything by themselves. Heroes will encounter all sort of situations in which it’s impossible to progress without help from other residents of the oasis.” In a game which requires careful gathering and management of resources, as the story unfolds the player may learn that friendship is an even more important resource to nurture.
Additionally, an exclusive pre-launch reward will be available on My Nintendo. Members can save 10% on a purchase of Ever Oasis from Nintendo eShop, by exchanging 30 Gold Points between 15th June and 30th June. The discount will be applied for purchases between 23rd June and 7th July.

SENRAN KAGURA Peach Beach Splash French Localisation & Japan Expo Attendance Confirmed!
Marvelous Europe proudly announce that highly-anticipated summer-themed title, ‘SENRAN KAGURA Peach Beach Splash’ will support a series first, full text localisation for French players while retaining authentic Japanese audio. The first European public hands-on showing of the title will be at Japan Expo 2017 in Paris.

In the single-player mode of SENRAN KAGURA Peach Beach Splash players will choose a team of five from the more than 30 girls available, outfit them with customisable weapons and abilities, and then lead them into lighthearted water gun battles in a variety of combat arenas. Players can also go online to join their friends and take on opposing teams in 5-on-5 team battles as well as survival matches. Attribute cards add another layer of strategy to the water gun war with over 800 cards available, providing improved weapons, unique skills, and summonable pets.
