Dragon Quest Heroes II – New trailer shows off Accordia and the multiplayer mode; Steam version coming on April 25th!
Square Enix Ltd., today welcomes players to the world of DRAGON QUEST HEROES II, with a brand new overview trailer detailing everything you need to know about the upcoming action-RPG.

DRAGON QUEST HEROES II will arrive across Europe and PAL territories for PlayStation 4, on 28th April 2017 and will be available on STEAM from 25th April. For more information, visit: www.dragonquest-game.com .
The day one “Explorer’s Edition” is also available to pre-order now, featuring 15 exclusive DLC items as well as a reversible cover artwork depicting the in-game Adventure Log. The DLC includes weapons designed from the enemies in the game, including the Slime Knight’s Shield, Great Sabreclaws, Golem Gauntlets and more.
Final Fantasy Awarded Guinness World Records Title For Most Prolific Role Playing Game Series!
Today, SQUARE ENIX announced that it has been awarded with three brand new Guinness World Records achievements for records set by games within the FINAL FANTASY series. The awards were presented on stage during the European FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Festival event held in Frankfurt.
FINAL FANTASY was awarded for being the “most prolific role playing game series”. As of 15th February 2017, the FINAL FANTASY name has adorned 87 different RPG titles, including spin offs.
FINAL FANTASY XIV, the MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) produced and directed by Naoki Yoshida, received two specific Guinness World Records titles: the first – “longest end credits in an MMO game” – is in recognition of the 1 hour 38 minute length of the end credits of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (2013). While credits typically contain the names of everyone involved with the creation of a game, the credits to A Realm Reborn also contain the names of players of the original FINAL FANTASY XIV (2010) as a sign of appreciation from the development team for their support.
FINAL FANTASY XIV also received the record for the “most original pieces of music in a videogame (including expansions) achieved by FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn ”. The game features 384 individual pieces of music recorded specifically for the game. This can be broken down as 280 pieces for the main game (Ver 2.0~2.55) and 104 from the 2015 expansion Heavensward™ (Ver 3.0~3.45).
Both Naoki Yoshida (Producer and Director) and Masayoshi Soken (Sound Director and Composer) were present on stage in Frankfurt to accept their awards in front of the Fan Festival crowd. Yosuke Matsuda (President and CEO, SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD.) received the most prolific role playing game series award on behalf of Square Enix.
The Dark Knight Joins Black Desert Online March 1 – Create Yours Today!
Kakao Games today announced that Black Desert Online’s new playable class, the Dark Knight, will be available from Wednesday, March 1. Starting today, players can select and customize the Dark Knight using the Character Creator, allowing them to decide on the appearance of their new character before she is officially added to Black Desert Online next week.
In addition, all Black Desert Online players can receive an extra character slot from the loyalty shop at practically no cost (1 loyalty) and the maximum amount of character slots is extended to 13 to support the additional class.
Teased earlier this month, the Dark Knight hails from the ancient land of Kamasylvia, which she left after causing a large-scale disagreement among Kamasylvia inhabitants, after seeking out and using forbidden powers of darkness that extinguish natural forces. In battle, the Dark Knight mercilessly unleashes this terrifying skill, stripping the life force of her enemies by using her two-handed Kriegsmesser sword or her array of dark magic attacks. Even though her sword is cumbersome, she skillfully dances around her foes chaining her heavy attacks with ranged spells.
The Dark Knight, as well as the Kamasylvia territory coming later, will both be available as free updates.
