Crema announces Immortal Redneck!
Crema, a Spanish indie studio who possibly may have been exposed to hallucinogenic substances during development (which would explain this game), are excited to announce the ultimate mash-up of cultures in a video game. Gird your loins folks as good old Southern hospitality gets set to meet ancient Egypt in Immortal Redneck, a RogueLite First Person Shooter set to release on PC, Mac and Linux this Spring with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to follow later in the year.
Immortal Redneck features all kinds of crazy and that’s a fact! You are a redneck holidaying in Egypt (so far, so normal) when an accident befalls you. You wake up to discover that you are mummified in a sarcophagus in ancient Egypt. WOAH! How did you get there? How did you survive the accident? And why the heck are you mummified?! The answers lie inside the three danger filled pyramids of Giza, all protected by an army of monsters and huge (like, HUGE) bosses whose sole aim is to kill you. A lot. Your only chance to discover what is happening will be to get inside the pyramids and kill all the enemies. Obviously!
Each of the three massive pyramids in Immortal Redneck contains procedurally generated dungeons, all with different sets of enemies and bosses, ensuring every play through is different. Died did you? Well, the next time you head in to that pyramid the layout will be completely different. With every death you will have to face a new and unique layout of rooms and traps.
Immortal Redneck features nine playable character classes each with their own traits and characteristics, a complete skill tree where you can upgrade your skills, unlock new classes and abilities, along with over 50 weapons from the traditional to the unique (did someone mention a potato launcher). Oh, and permanent death.
Mixing old-school first person shooter action with rogue lite mechanics, Immortal Redneck is aimed squarely at hardcore gamers that like their gameplay frantic, their controls twitchy, their style arcadey and their games shooty!

New Sabaton Music Pack for Hearts of Iron IV
Paradox Development Studio and Hearts of Iron IV continue their musical synergy with Swedish heavy metal band Sabaton. Best known for their songs about real historical events and the human side of war, Sabaton has licensed ten new songs for Hearts of Iron IV, each illustrating a moment of World War II with passion and power chords.
Highlights of this second music pack for HoI4 include 40:1, a song honoring the brave but futile defense of Wizna by a Polish army far outnumbered by invading Germans, and To Hell and Back, the story of highly decorated war hero Audie Murphy and his struggles with PTSD.

nWay, Lionsgate, and Saban Brands Release First Teaser Trailer and Image for Power Rangers: Legacy Wars
Cutting-edge game developer nWay, in partnership with Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF), a premier next generation global content leader, and Saban Brands, creators of the iconic Power Rangers franchise, today revealed the first screenshot and game details for Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, the real-time multiplayer PvP fighting game set to be released in March 2017 for iOS and Android devices.

Power Rangers: Legacy Wars marks the first video game to feature Power Rangers from Lionsgate’s highly anticipated feature film releasing March 24, 2017. In Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, Rita Repulsa, evil space witch, will step into and corrupt the Morphin Grid. Huge Phantom of the Kill Crossover with Madoka Magica Begins!
gumi Inc. and Fuji&gumi Games today announced that the global version of Phantom of the Kill will hold a special crossover event with the hit anime franchise Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Each time you clear a crossover stage, Madoka Magica-themed gear and recipes have a certain chance of dropping. By fusing them together, you can obtain gear for each character exclusive to this crossover. That gear can be enhanced even further through fusion, so try different combinations in order to obtain the most powerful weapons!
4. Exclusive Missions
Special Missions that feature 3-star Madoka and Homura in school uniforms as rewards will be available during the event period!
New Year – Huge Feature – Brand New Mobile-Look! For the heroes of the free2play Browser game Hero Zero, 2017 could not have started any better! Over the past few months, the developer team of Playata has worked almost 24/7 to make the largest update in the six year history of this highly successful title possible. Hero Zero’s truest heroes can experience an extensive new feature, which is an integral part of the game from now on: The Hero Hideout! In addition, Hero Zero now captivates with revamped graphics, as well as a relaunch of the mobile version.
The Hideout Feature
Players who have reached level 8 get access to a secret base which is found under their heroes’ houses in Humphreydale. At the beginning, the base consists of an empty construction site that can be expanded step by step to a full-scale Hero Hideout. To make this possible, players first have to build a hideout base. The hideout base acts as a cornerstone for further rooms and as an improved substitute for the previous work feature. The hideout base is constantly collecting coins, which can be retrieved by users. For future alterations to the individual Hero Hideout layout, rooms can be stored and re-placed in varying locations within the base. It is also possible to improve the efficiency of the hard-working robots over a particular space or to organize a second work robot in order to speed up production. Only one construction action can be performed at a time.
Collect resources and compete with other players
Different rooms produce different resources, such as Super Glue or Zeronite, which must be collected in addition to coins and experience points. For construction actions, resources are needed, which are gathered in the respective rooms, such as the Zeronite Mine and the Super Glue Manufacturer. Players gradually expand the size of their Hideout and open new construction sites to build space for more rooms. Heroes, who build their underground base accordingly and produce combat units in the designated combat center can attack other heroes’ Hideouts and steal a portion of their resources!
Relaunch of the mobile version
From now on, heroes can also look forward to even more fun on the go! The mobile version of Hero Zero has been completely reworked and dazzles with a renewed setting, improved controls and a much more polished look.
The Hero Zero-App is available for free in the AppStore as well as in the Google PlayStore and is playable over Facebook or directly on play.herozerogame.com.
