Earlier today, Daybreak Games released their Legendary server for The Lord of the Rings Online – Anor! The Anor server has been hotly anticipated by fans dedicated to the 11 year-old online game, and it may attract new and returning players to the fold.
The Anor server will include many enhancements and bonuses made to the game over the years – most notably, the High-elf, Rune-keeper, Warden, Beorning are all available from the start. The server will launch with Vanilla content, with a focus on the Shadows of Angmar story, and then proceed to roll out new content over time, opening new story opportunities and raising the level cap. The plan is to add new content to the server every four months.
Anor is currently only available to VIP subscribers, but the general The Lord of the Rings Online experience is available free. The server’s release trailer may be found below.
