Salman’s Favorite Gaming Content Creators

YouTube has always had it’s fair share of gaming content. From the old stuff like The Angry Video Game Nerd to the huge surge of let’s plays that blew up cause of PewDiePie, doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. But because of the abundance of this kind of content now. It can be hard to find stuff that really sticks out for me. So here are 6 of my favorites in no particular order.

1) Matthewmatosis

I’m a huge sucker for in depth game reviews and this list will surely tell with the other entries. Matthewmatosis is an insanely talented YouTuber who has made some of the best review and critique I have seen. He is thorough in his reviews how and leaving no aspect untouched. His videos can also be really long but that’s in the benefit of the reviews as he has a lot of points to make. He doesn’t make content too often and that’s a shame since I could watch his stuff all day but when he does release something it’s well worth the wait.

2) GamingBrit

Gaming Brit has somewhat of a cynical personality when it comes to a lot games he talks about as well as the gaming industry in general and his outlook on some things can be a very interesting thing to listen to since he talks about things as bluntly as he can. He does a ton of retrospective stuff as well as reviews, there’s always good bits of comedy sprinkled into his reviews to keep you hooked and the games he reviews sometimes are games that are sorely overlooked for better or for worse. He even has an separate channel where he talks about anime he rarely uploads there but whenever he does it’s quite a treat.

3) HyperBitHero

HyperBitHero is a content creator who’s videos I can rewatch over and over for some reason. I can’t put my finger on it but he certainly knows how to keep me interested on the topic he is talking about. He has different serious such as Devious Intent where takes an extensive look at the great and sometimes not so great villains of video games as well as Your Next Favorite where he recommends and talks about games that some people may have missed out and why they should check em out. Like GamingBrit he also talks about anime in seperate videos and they are quite good as well. This guy is the person who got me into the Yakuza series and I can’t thank him enough!

4) NakeyJakey

Out of all the YouTubers I’m going to be listing I think that NakeyJakey is probably one of the most underlooked out of all of them all. If I was to describe him in one word it would be entertaining. NakeyJakey has some of the most entertaining and rewatchable videos I’ve seen. His style of comedy is just child-like and stupid and it’s one of the best things about him. He has a couple of series on his channel such as his rap reviews and Games That Should Bang. Which are all worth checking out. Jakey is also an extremely talented musician and I can listen to his music all day.

5) SuperBunnyHop

SuperBunnyHop is probably the most known content creator on this list as well as the most legit reviewer. He mostly does reviews intersting little pieces like the ones about him reviewing books based off of games and just a whole lot of other fun stuff. One of the more fun segments he does is Games From My Inbox where he reviews a couple games that he missed out on that people usually just e-mail him about. I think it’s a great series to check out if you’re looking for something new to play. Another favorite video series of his are his critical close-ups and the ones on Metal Gear at that.

6) Mr. Clemps

Mr.Clemps is another very entertaining and funny guy who makes videos mostly on a lot of JRPGS. Not that he doesn’t talk about other games but most of his videos are about them. Because of him I was able to fully enjoy NieR Automata without having to play the previous Drakengard and NieR games with his absolutely amazing and thorough series on the games. His channel is slowly growing and would love to see him make more content more consistently as he’s always hard at work on some 20-something minute video
