The supernatural survival game Once Human is turning up the heat with a brand new PVP-focused mode called RaidZone. Announced on May 19, RaidZone is a brutal new sub-brand that brings open-world warfare, high-stakes raiding, and the chance to betray your mates all in the name of survival. Early Access kicks off on May 21st, so get ready to dive in.
Raid of Be Raided
In RaidZone, it’s every survivor for themselves. You’ll be building up bases from scrap, defending your loot with traps and turrets, and launching all-out assaults on rival strongholds. From wooden huts to full-on concrete fortresses, your base is only as strong as your defences, and your willingness to blow up someone else’s.
The game encourages players to form alliances, but don’t get too comfortable. Betrayal is always an option. Whether you’re trading resources or plotting your next ambush, trust is a luxury few can afford.
Things Are About to Get Floaty
Launching alongside RaidZone is a mad new seasonal event called Visional Wheel S1: Starfall Inversion. Basically, gravity is taking a holiday. Certain zones will be hit by zero-gravity effects, sending rubble, vehicles, and even your character floating into the sky.
You’ll need to master mid-air movement, boost your jumps, and take on airborne enemies hiding in floating debris. It’s a whole new way to explore and fight, with sky-high stunts, floating buildings, and six new Deviations to tract down and contain.
There’s also a new interdimensional Leap set dropping with the update, including a spider-themed outfit, new furniture, and sky-ready skins for your weapons and bases.
Coming Soon: Endless Dream PVE Mode
Later this summer, Once Human is adding a new PVE mode called Endless Dream. Parts of the world will transform into twisted dream zones filled with nightmare creatures. It’s up to player to fight back, cleanse the land, and uncover the root of the nightmare spreading across Nalcott Island.
This mode will offer full-map exploration, dynamic difficulty, and plenty of chances to build your own shelters on the fly. Expect a big challenge with plenty of rewards for those who survive.
