Destiny: Rising is gearing up for launch, and things are starting to heat up. NetEase Games has kicked off global pre-registration for the game on iOS, letting players on the Apple App Store get in early and help unlock tiered rewards as more folks sign up. If you’re on Android, hang tight—Google Play pre-orders are on the way, but for now, you can still pre-register through the official site.

But that’s not all. A closed beta test is dropping soon, exclusively for Google Play users in the US and Canada. Starting May 29th, players will get a first look at new content, expand story chapters, and some pretty exciting gameplay changes.

Here’s what’s packed into the closed beta:

  • New Storyline: Get ready to dive into the Red Sea Rift, tackle the curse of Veridia, and get stuck into a new plotline involving the ever-creepy Cabal.
  • New Characters: Two new faces join the first, Xuan Wei brings Arc-powered fury, while Umeko plays it cool with Void-based stealth.
  • Fresh Missions & Strikes: More campaign content, challenging Strikes, and a brutal new Master difficulty for players who want to flex their skills.
  • Chill Side Content: Take a breather with the new fishing activity in Haven or uncover hidden secrets and environmental puzzles if that’s more your speed.

The beta will include in-app purchases too, so expect a slice of the full game experience.

If you want in, iOS players can pre-register now via the App Store, and Android user can head to the Destiny: Rising website. For more info and future updates, keep your eyes peeled—there’s more to come as launch day creeps closer.
