Goblin Company is almost ready to clock in, dig down, and lose several goblins to poor workplace safety. As per the press release, BitBorne Studio’s co-op mining survival game launches on 12th June 2026, with the demo closing on the same day.
So, prospective employees of WHAAG MINING INC. have one week left to try the demo before management shuts the cave doors for good.
The full game will launch at $9.99 / £9.09 / €9.75 / ¥1,200. Better yet, there will be a 20% launch discount, because apparently even goblin overlords enjoy a bargain now and then.
Goblin Company Has Already Dug Up Plenty Of Interest
Goblin Company has already pulled in some chunky numbers ahead of launch. According to the press release, more than 54,000 players have grabbed the demo, while 75,000 people have wishlisted the full game.
Not bad for a title where survival rates are described as “acceptable”. That feels less like a stat and more like a warning label.
In Goblin Company, players descend into caves to retrieve the Giant Crystal. Succeed, and you get to go home. Fail, and WHAAG MINING INC. replaces you with another goblin. Charming stuff.
Dig Deep, Build Rails, Try Not To Explode
At its core, Goblin Company is a co-op mining survival game about digging too greedily and too deep. Players carve tunnels through fully destructible biomes, build huge rail networks, and ride mining carts through caves that probably do not meet modern safety standards.
Every run is shaped by the routes you dig, the rails you place, and the terrible decisions you make along the way. You can optimise your mining cart routes, upgrade goblin technology, and use torches to keep the darkness at bay.
Naturally, reliability is not guaranteed. Management accepts no liability. Very normal workplace behaviour.
The full game includes three different biomes, each seemingly worse than the last. Players can also bring friends, which is useful because friends carry more torches. They also scream better when things go sideways.
The press release sums it up rather neatly: if Deep Rock Galactic moves a bit too fast for you, Goblin Company offers a chiller mining experience with plenty of chaos stirred in.
Goblin Company Demo Ends On Launch Day
The current Goblin Company demo gives players a quick taste before launch. It includes one biome, a handful of upgrades, rail building, crystal mining, and enough cave-based disaster to make you question the onboarding process.
However, the demo does not include automation or a proper end goal. It is more of a goblin-flavoured snack before the full cave buffet opens next week.
Goblin Company launches on 12th June 2026, with a 20% launch discount and the demo disappearing on the same day. So, if you fancy joining WHAAG MINING INC. before the paperwork gets suspicious, now is probably the time.
