The team over at Behaviour Interactive have just posted about an upcoming Dead by Daylight update – one that aims to fix some long-standing issues with certain buffs.
From the post on their forums, we know that Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill chapter is getting some reworks to make him more balanced – reducing the delay of Punishment of the Damned, whilst increasing the delay of Rites of Judgement.
But many older perks were touched on too – Yui’s Any Means Necessary perk has had its cooldown reduced, Slippery Meat no longer affects Trapper’s bear traps, for example. Other perks touched include:
- Trail of Torment
- Forced Penance
- Blood Pact
- Cruel Limits
- For The People
- Mindbreaker
- Thanataphobia
- We’re Gonna Live Forever
- Technician
- Pop Goes The Weasel
Perks will also be shuffled into rarity based on their tiers, which is a small, but welcome change.
And to finish the update off, concept art of the MacMillian Estate map visual rework was revealed – part of an ongoing effort to update older Dead by Daylight maps.
