New trailer introduces the enemy factions, each of which can call on their own special units

Crown Wars: The Black Prince has just dropped a new trailer introducing the enemy factions, each of which can call on their own special units. Crown Wars: The Black Prince is a turn-based tactics and strategy game which will be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on 23 May.

In the year 1356, 5 rival factions battle for the throne of the Kingdom of France. Each of them has their own set of special skills and strategies, which you will need to study and understand to ensure you come out on top.

While the Regent Charles, the son of King John II of France, held prisoner in England, controls the majority of the Kingdom with his army of French partisans, King Edward of England is intent on claiming his right to the French crown, banking on his soldiers armed with longbows and expert in long-range combat.

Meanwhile, the Duchy of Brittany can boast very tough, heavily armoured units.

The 4th faction, represented by King Charles of Navarre, is notorious for its savagery, and uses devious means such as poison to achieve its goals. Finally, neighbouring Castile relies on its advanced engineering to emerge victorious in battle.

But all this is reckoning without an even more powerful and darker force of pure Evil, skilled in the art of corruption and in the occult, which could well change the course of History itself.

Crown Wars: The Black Prince will be available for PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S from 23rd May 2024. The Switch version will be released later this year.
