New classes, new races, and new content.
The Shadowbringers expansion for Final Fantasy XIV – the title’s third – will launch July 2nd. The expansion focuses on the themes of light vs dark, and the middle ground between.
“We’ve surpassed 16 million total users…this is all thanks to our players,” The developer stated.
Shadowbringers is ‘comperable to a standalone RPG title’, according to the presenter.
There will be two new classes – the Gunbreaker and Dancer – and two new races – the male only Hrothgar and the female only Veira.
