Although the upcoming Guilty Gear doesn’t have an official title yet, we do know two things: It will be releasing on the Playstation 4, and it will be amazing.
The esteemed fighting series – well known for it’s insane combos and beautiful, cel-shaded artstyle – released a 60 FPS trailer today, which can be found below. The trailer showed of Ky Kiske, and revealed May is returning.
Before the trailer release, Sega hosted series directors, Daisuke Ishiwatari and Akira Katano, to talk about the upcoming title. The directors were surprised and enthusiastic about the fan response during the title’s initial discussion at the last Evo event, and discussed aspects of the upcoming title such as location transitions and the detail of character expressions. They also noted that the trailer below was entirely gameplay footage.
