Amateur Surgeon 4 releases on iOS and Android!
Great news for hobbyist surgeons – Dr. Bleed is back and ready to practice questionably legal surgery in Amateur Surgeon 4: Re-generations! Amateur Surgeon 4 is the latest in the classic series from Adult Swim Games and the debut title from Burke & Best: a sparkly new studio formed by games industry veterans in Canterbury, England.
The new game allows users to play through the entire history of improvised surgery in over 100 levels of slice and dice mayhem. Players can also connect via Facebook to challenge their friends in the Field Hospital or team up with an impressive (and often silly) array of unlock-able surgery partners to gain an edge. The Amateur Surgeon series (originally created by London game studio Mediatonic) has entertained millions of players over the last decade. This instalment faithfully recreates the world whilst simultaneously updating and refining it in order to entertain a new generation of fans.
You can download Amateur Surgeon 4 now on Google Play or the App Store to start operating on everything from sentient robots to stealth-impaired ninjas:
Redlock Studio has just reached their initial funding goal of €80k on Kickstarter for their debut game Shattered – Tale of the Forgotten King. The Square Enix team was streaming the game on Twitch (as the Square Enix Collective has been supporting this Kickstarter campaign) when the announcement was made. With 5 days left on the campaign (http://kck.st/2f5TFmf), Redlock Studio hopes to reach additional funding to release on consoles and create additional content.
Playing as the Wanderer in this dark action-RPG and platformer, you will discover key lore in 2.5D platforming phases, which will lead you to different endings depending on your in-game choices and help you find ways to defeat 12 Demiurges (and other foes) in dynamic 3D battles.
Maxime René, Redlock Studio’s Creative Director said that “reaching this first funding goal is opening a lot of opportunities for us – all this thanks to the community that helped us get to this point. We’re now focused on the last few days of the campaign, to increase the scope of the project and realise our dream of making Shattered! It’s a big first step for the gigantic universe we’re hoping to develop, for (and with) the community.”
- Deep lore originating from paper-based RPG campaigns
- RPG crafting and skills system
- 2.5D platformer
- 3D dynamic boss fights* Unique in-game language
- Several possible outcomes and storylines depending on boss fights and puzzles solved
Shattered – Tale of the Forgotten King is will be released on PC and Mac in 2018; there are also plans to make it available on PS4 and Xbox One.
