The Escapists’ receives new ‘Jingle Cells’ Christmas Update!
Award-winning international games label Team17 is excited to reveal that their smash hit The Escapists will be receiving further free content to celebrate the festive season with the Jingle Cells update!
Following on from last year’s release of the free Santa’s Sweatshop content, our daring escapee elf unfortunately lost control of their sleigh mid-flight and was forced to make an emergency landing – right in the middle of the grounds of the Jingle Cells prison!
Stuck doing hard time again, if you want to get home in time for the holidays you’ll need to sneak around the brand new wintery themed prison sourcing the unique items and crafting supplies that you’ll need to repair the sleigh and make another break for it!
The Jingle Cells update will feature:
- New festive themed prison to escape
- 20 new items and craftables
- New leaderboard to make your mark on
The Jingle Cells content will be available as a free The Escapists content update for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac and Linux on the 8th December.
Caretaker Retribution releasing exclusively for the HTC Vive
Caretaker Retribution, which can be found on Steam here http://store.steampowered.com/app/416090/ has you flying around a large alien machine and shooting things – all in fully tracked room-scale VR, what more could a hard-core sci-fi loving tech head with a Vive want?
Set inside the memorial to two brave pioneers, who set out to discover why the stars went out in the Universe. Having discovered the cause they entered it in the vain attempt to stop it reaching their home – neither would make it out alive. The player takes on the role of Commander Andy Carolan, one of the brave pioneers who must fly through various rooms of the Star Killer, taking out the control nodes that power them and avoiding the unending waves of drones sent to defend it.

NieR: AUTOMATA Releasing March 7th, 2017 for PS4. Pre-Order editions detailed.
At the PlayStation Experience this past weekend, SQUARE ENIX revealed that NieR: Automata will be released on March 7, 2017 for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system. Developed in collaboration with PlatinumGames Inc., the exciting new action role-playing game centers around the story of androids 2B, 9S and A2, and their ferocious battle to reclaim a post-apocalyptic world abandoned by mankind and overrun by powerful weapons known as machine lifeforms.
Fans and newcomers alike are also invited to get their hands on the action-RPG in a newly announced consumer demo, coming soon to the PlayStation Network.

King of Fighters XIV getting a new update, including a new demo!
SNK PLAYMORE CORPORATION is proud to announce the release of a major free update (ver.1.10) to the PlayStation 4 exclusive title THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV in January 2017.
This update will include significant graphical improvements, 2 new colour variations per character, and many more features. Moreover, a new demo (ver.2) will be released later in December as a preview of the upcoming 1.10 update.
