Toy Tactics, the innovative RTS game where you customize your strategies with hand-drawn formations, reveals online multiplayer where generals can participate in both competitive 1v1 and cooperative experiences, when it graduates from Steam Early Access on Thursday, Sept. 19.
To celebrate, developer Kraken Empire and publisher Joystick Ventures announce that PC players will have the chance to join a competition with the multiplayer beta. For further details, join the official Discord and follow Toy Tactics on Steam! On August 26, all the details about the competition and the prizes for the winner will be revealed.
Toy Tactics aims to make the RTS genre accessible to aspiring generals of all kinds. Command units and split forces into battalions by drawing directly onto the battlefield with a mouse cursor or joystick. Rated E for Everyone by the ESRB, Toy Tactics eschews any gruesomeness, through minifigures battling it out with wacky physics effects and a presentation that mixes humor with an epic style.
Under the tutelage of Sun Tzu, author of The Art of War, become a general in Erebus, an afterlife where minifigure versions of great warriors from throughout history can fight forever. Command Roman legions, Samurai warriors, and raptor-riding skeletons, unleashing powerful spells and discovering game-changing artifacts to turn the tide of battle.
Toy Tactics releases on September 19, 2024 on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and GOG. Media and content creators interested in an early build of the game and virtual interview opportunities can contact zachery.bennett@stridepr.com for more information.
