Cosmocat Games’ rougelite survival horror TOXICANT is getting a serious power-up. A new free update, titled Rampage!, lands on Monday, 26 May and it brings a shotgun, a new game mode, and a tasty 60% discount to celebrated.

Enter: Rampage! Mode
Find the shotgun in the main game and you’ll unlock Rampage! mode. It’s a more action-heavy take on TOXICANT, with a fewer tight tunnels, more enemies, and (a bit) more ammo. It still leans into survival horror, but you can finally play it more like a zombie shooter. Blast you way through the mines and feel a little less helpless. Until the shells run out.
What’s TOXICANT again?
If you’re new to the game, TOXICANT is a roguelite survival horror set in creepy, randomly generated mines. You scavenge gear, fight mutants, uncover conspiracies, and eat the kind of food that gives your stomach second thoughts. It’s grim, weird, and tense in all the right ways.
