Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence is now available worldwide on PC through Steam and Ubisoft Connect following its early-access period.
Ubisoft’s free-to-play third-person shooter RPG is also available on iOS and Android. Full cross-play and cross-progression support means players can carry their progress between PC and mobile.
So, your battle to reclaim New York can now follow you from the sofa to the bus. Efficient, if slightly stressful.
The Division Resurgence Brings Its Open World to PC
The Division Resurgence is a mobile-first entry in Ubisoft’s shooter RPG series. It brings the familiar streets of New York City into a shared open world packed with missions, hostile factions and heavily armed troublemakers.
The game also includes signature PvPvE modes such as Dark Zone and Conflict. Therefore, players can expect the usual mixture of cooperation, competition and wondering whether that stranger nearby is about to steal their gear.
A new standalone story sits at the centre of the experience. Players can tackle missions alone or join up with three others to protect civilians, fight hostile groups and help restore stability across the city.
Cross-Play, Customisation and Regular Updates
The Division Resurgence features RPG progression with extensive weapon and gear customisation.
Players can choose from several specialisations, each offering signature weapons and unique gadgets. Roles can also be changed at any time, allowing squads to adapt their setup around different missions or team needs.
As per the press release, the Year 1 roadmap will deliver new content every six weeks. Planned additions include Speed Run challenges, cosmetic sets, Classified Ops passes and a major story expansion.
