Arjun is joining the Street Fighter 6 roster on October 13, 2026, bringing Yoga Breathing techniques, heavy-hitting attacks and some particularly unpleasant-looking earth pillars with him.

The new fighter is the second character arriving as part of Street Fighter 6’s Year 4 content. He’ll be available across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.

Capcom has also released a new gameplay trailer showing Arjun in action, alongside limited-time New Challengers artwork and effects inspired by the Street Fighter movie.

Arjun brings Yoga Breathing to Street Fighter 6

Before becoming a fighter, Arjun served as a police officer in India. However, his life fell apart after his trusted partner was murdered and Arjun was framed for the crime.

Now on the run, he’s searching for the truth behind his partner’s death.

That quest for justice feeds directly into his fighting style. Arjun sacrifices speed for powerful strikes, projectiles and traps. Several of his attacks can also inflict recoverable damage, even when opponents successfully block them.

His move set includes:

  • Arm of Justice: A winding punch with different variants depending on attack strength, plus an optional follow-up.
  • Cruel Shoulder: A forward-moving shoulder tackle with different properties depending on its strength.
  • Breathing Ring: Creates a ring of air that can be followed with Breathing Shockwave, firing it forward as a projectile at different angles.
  • Divine Pillar: Arjun blows air into the ground to raise an earth pillar. Attack strength changes its distance, while holding the button delays activation.
  • Justice Beyond: Hitting an active Divine Pillar with Cruel Shoulder lets Arjun grab it and swing it towards his opponent.
  • Ghastly Interrogation: A command throw that deals recoverable damage. It can instead deal normal damage if the opponent already has recoverable damage.
  • Indomitable Defense: Arjun uses yogic breathing to prepare his muscles, turning incoming melee attacks into counterattacks that deal recoverable damage.
  • Moral Breakdown: While Indomitable Defense is active, Arjun throws both fists forward. It deals recoverable damage on block and normal damage on hit.
  • Howling Destruction: His Level 1 Super Art attacks opponents with rapid bursts of his breathing technique.
  • Instant Oblivion: Arjun’s Level 2 Super Art launches his opponent into the air and sends them away, giving him room to set up Divine Pillar.
  • Yaksha’s Order: His Level 3 Super Art disrupts his opponent’s inner ear before leading into a cinematic finishing attack.

Arjun joins Street Fighter 6 Year 4

Arjun unlocks on October 13 for anyone who owns or purchases the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass.

His Outfit 1 represents Arjun while he’s on the run and pursuing vengeance. Outfit 2 instead shows an idealised version of the character who has left his quest for justice behind.

Players can unlock Outfit 2 by maxing out Arjun’s Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode or by purchasing it with Fighter Coins.

Arjun is the second character released from Street Fighter 6’s Year 4 roster. The line-up also includes Tifa from the FINAL FANTASY VII Remake series, Bosch and the previously released Yasmine.

You can watch Arjun’s gameplay trailer on the official Street Fighter YouTube channel, with more information available through the Street Fighter 6 website.
