Summoned today on Devolver Direct, the new free Unholy Alliance update for the esoteric hit Cult of the Lamb introduces an all-new playable character: the Goat! Summoned by blood and born into corruption, this strange companion can join the Lamb in local cooperation. It will therefore be possible to roam the dungeons, beat up heretics and build your cult together from August 12th!

The entire Cult of the Lamb campaign will be playable in local co-op. Enjoy special 2-player versions for existing mini-games, like fishing and knucklebones, and choose from a selection of weapons, tarot cards, curses, and corrupted relics as your co-op crusades progress.

The Lamb and Goat can swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back-to-back, and even critically hit when their attacks are synchronized. Good news for those who prefer to stay solo in their corner: they will be able to take advantage of various new powers.

In addition to the ability to play with two people in co-op, the Unholy Alliance expansion adds several tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleece, character traits, and quests, in addition to new secrets to discover!

Unholy Alliance will be released for free on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series S|X and Switch on August 12 through an update.
