Owlcat Games came out swinging during Warhammer Skulls 2025, dropping two massive reveals that have Warhammer fans buzzing.

Dark Heresy Is Coming — Time to Join the Inquisition

First up, Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy is officially in the works. The brand-new tactical RPG throws you deep into the shadowy world of the Inquisition. You’ll play as an acolyte, leading a warband through a gritty, choice-heavy story set during the Noctis Aeterna and the rise of the Tyrant Star.

Expect turn-based combat, intense investigations, and plenty of brutal decisions as you team up with a mix of allies, from a frizzled Catachan Guardsman to a razor-sharp Kroot mercenary. It builds on what Rogue Trader started, but takes the narrative and atmosphere even deeper, with full voice acting and a proper grimdark tone.

Dark Heresy is heading to PC (Steam, GOG, Epic) and consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X|S). You can wishlist it now or grab a Founder’s Pack to help support development.

Lex Imperialis Brings Law and Order to Rogue Trader

Also announced: Lex Imperialis, the second major DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, launches June 24th. This 15-hour expansion focuses on Imperial law and introduces the no-nonsense Adeptus Arbites, with a brand-new companion: Solommorne Anthar. Expect cyber-mastiffs, cyber-eagles, and a lot of grim-faced justice.

Season Pass 2 is Pack with More Madness

Owlcat also unveiled Rogue Trader’s Season Pass 2. It bundles two more big expansions plus a cosmetic Appearance Pack. Players will venture into a Necron vault curated by Trazyn the inifinite and explore the eerie, twisted Processional of the Damned. Each DLC includes a new companion and around 15 hours of new content.

Anyone who pre-orders the Season Pass gets exclusive customisation goodies like new hairstyles and implants for their Lord Captain.

And if you haven’t jumped into Rogue Trader yet, now’s the time – it’s 50% off across all platforms during the Warhammer Skulls Sale.
