tinyBuild and Come On Studio have launched Hozy on PC and Mac, bringing a calm home renovation game to Steam with a launch discount and a lot of very tidy vibes.

If your ideal evening involves sorting shelves, choosing wallpaper, and making abandoned houses feel loved again, Hozy seems ready to nick a chunk of your free time. As per the press release, the cosy renovation game is out now on Steam for PC and Mac at $14.99, with a 10% launch discount to sweeten the deal.

That warm reception has already been brewing for a while, too. tinyBuild says Hozy was one of the Top 10 most played games during Steam Next Fest and has racked up more than 500,000 wishlists ahead of launch. Not bad for a game built around taking things nice and slow.

Hozy leans into calm over chaos

Unlike the usual renovation sim setup, Hozy is not interested in rushing you about. There are no timers, no scores, and no penalties, which means you can fuss over every cushion and colour choice without the game breathing down your neck.

Players can explore nine unique locations, each tied to the personal stories of the people who once lived there. The idea is less about smashing through jobs and more about settling into a steady, satisfying rhythm as you clean, decorate, and gradually bring these forgotten spaces back to life.

That easy-going approach seems to be the whole point. Whether you are wiping down windows, placing furniture, or picking out paint and wallpaper, Hozy wants the process itself to feel good. Lovely stuff.

A cosy renovation game packed with small details

One of Hozy’s bigger selling points is how much attention it gives to the little things. According to the press release, you can open windows to hear nature outside, light candles, arrange books, hang portraits, and even switch on a projector. It is very much chasing that tiny-hit-of-satisfaction feeling, over and over again.

There is also a designer-curated set of furniture and décor to play with, alongside tools that let you rotate, move, and place items freely. Wall colours and flooring options have been tuned to work together, so even the less confident interior designers among us should be able to make something that looks properly put together.

The overall goal is simple enough: restore homes room by room, space by space, and help breathe life back into a faded small town. Low stakes, soft lighting, and a lot of carefully placed furniture. You can see the appeal.

Hozy is out now on Steam for PC and Mac. There is also a launch trailer available, if you fancy a peek before getting stuck into your next digital redecorating spiral.
