House Flipper 2 – Pets DLC will launch on December 3, bringing a sizeable pile of furry, feathered and generally adorable additions to the fixer-upper simulator.
Frozen District and Frozen Way have confirmed the release date alongside a new teaser, with the DLC heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The Pets DLC has apparently been on the drawing board since House Flipper 2 launched. After three DLCs and plenty of content updates, players will finally be able to adopt a companion and drag them along for some property-flipping chaos.
House Flipper 2 – Pets adds Puffin Isle, new homes and plenty of animals
As per the press release, the DLC will introduce Puffin Isle, a new region of Pinnacove to unlock and explore.
Players will also be able to adopt more than 40 dog and cat breeds, some of which come with unique traits. On top of that, there are over 30 smaller pet species looking for homes.
Naturally, the new animals come with plenty of extra renovation work too.
The DLC includes 10 new jobs, 10 houses designed with animal lovers in mind and four new buyers with their own cuddly companions. There are also four pet-related item assemblies and hundreds of new furniture and decoration items.
Those new items cover cosy, rustic and Mediterranean styles, so there should be plenty of ways to turn your latest renovation into either a classy retreat or a palace for your cat.
A fresh set of achievements is also included for anyone who needs another excuse to keep flipping.
Pets DLC will be playable at Gamescom 2026
The release date reveal arrives just ahead of Gamescom 2026, where fans will be able to try an exclusive House Flipper 2 – Pets DLC demo.
The House Flipper 2 team will be in Hall 10.1 at Booth A042, with visitors also able to speak directly with the developers.
Frozen District and Frozen Way describe Pets as their biggest and most ambitious House Flipper 2 DLC so far. The teams are also planning several development blogs before launch, with the first already available on Steam.
