What happens when unhinged gods turn fame-hungry mortals into playthings for cosmic ratings? You get GodsTV, Melbot Studios’ chaotic top-down co-op roguelike ARPG, revealed today during the Six One Indie Showcase. Even better – there’s a demo on Steam right now if you fancy diving into divine satire and showbiz bloodsport.
Fame or Failure (Probably Both)
In GodsTV, you play as one of four unlikely contenders, scrambling for survival and stardom in the gods’ interdimensional Fame Show Arena. Pick your patron deity, grab their “gifts,” and fight for clout across absurd broadcast battles. Die? No problem. Just head backstage, cut some shady deals, and return to the arena flashier than ever.

A Twisted TV Show of Pain
- Reality TV roguelike loop: Death isn’t the end, it’s just a new season with fresh drama.
- Solo or co-op chaos: Take on the madness alone or buddy up for longer survival.
- Always evolving arenas: Rules, challenges, and environments shift to keep the audience entertained – and you on your toes.
- Punk rock cartoon energy: Loud, colourful, and unashamedly ridiculous, every run feels like a demented episode of a doomed game show.
Behind the Scenes
Melbot Studios has teamed up with Spud Gun Studios – the animators behind Mashed (5M YouTube subs) – to co-produce both the game’s narrative and an upcoming GodsTV animated series. So yes, the chaos will spill off your screen too.
Ready for Primetime?
GodsTV is set to launch in Early Access on Steam in April 2026, but you can wishlist it now. The demo is live today, so grab your popcorn (and maybe a divine shield) and see how long you can last before the gods pull the plug.
