The winds are shifting in Erenshor. On September 26, the beloved simulated MMORPG is dropping its Call of the Storm patch, and it’s not just a tune-up—it’s a full-on overhaul. We’re talking new classes, rebuilt zones, smarter AI, and a slicker UI that should make even the most die-hard min-maxers nod in approval.

Stormcaller Joins the Party

The big headliner is the brand-new Stormcaller class, bringing a bow to the battlefield and shaking up the meta with unique ranged mechanics. Alongside it, familiar roles like Duelists and Paladins have been rebalanced to keep things fresh (and hopefully a bit less salty in party chat).

A Bigger, Wilder World

Two fan-favourite areas—Island Tomb and Krakengard—have been rebuilt from the ground up, now bigger, better, and more open for exploration. Newcomers also get a friendlier start thanks to Willowwatch, an alternate tutorial zone designed to make onboarding less of a grind.

Party Time, Five at a Time

Erenshor is bumping up party size from 4 to 5 players, opening the door for new team comps and more creative strategies. Both ally AI and enemy AI have been upgraded, making fights trickier, fairer, and more dynamic. Throw in new proficiency allocation for deeper buildcrafting, and you’ve got a system begging for experimentation.

Quality-of-Life Galore

The update also rolls out a reworked UI, a batch of over two dozen new items, and extra character slots for those who can’t stop tinkering with alts.

The Final Word

Between the combat overhauls, expanded world design, and fresh content, Call of the Storm is shaping up to be one of Erenshor’s most ambitious updates yet. If you want to keep up—or throw in your two cents—head over to the official Discord server and join the storm.
