You thought the time loops were already messy? Think again. Season 9 of Dragon Ball: The Breakers is here, and Broly (Z) just body-slammed his way into the Raider roster.
Live now across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (and fully playable on current-gen consoles), this free update from Bandai Namco doesn’t just drop a new Raider, it levels up Cell and Buu too, because clearly the survivors weren’t stressed enough already.
Broly (Z) – Now With Extra Screaming
The new Raider kicks off as Paragus, with Broly acting as your semi-controlled wrecking ball. You get to choose how unhinged things get: manually evolve to SSJ Broly at level 2 and scrap your way forward… or sit tight and hit 200% energy to skip straight to the good stuff—LV3 Broly and an express lane to full-power carnage at LV4.
We’re talking instant area deletion levels of destruction.
Cell Has Children Now. Run.
Perfect Cell’s had a glow-up—he now summons up to 7 autonomous Cell Juniors with the new “Make Them Suffer” skill. Up to three of these pocket nightmares can zip around the map dishing out pain while Cell sips a senzu smoothie. Survivors, good luck keeping your Dragon Balls intact.
Majin Buu (Now with Gohan Absorbed)
And in a twist only Dragon Ball could make sound normal, Majin Buu’s also evolved—again. The pink menace can now gobble up Super Transpheres to become Majin Buu (Gohan Absorbed) at LV4. It’s still a high-risk, high-reward gig, but now there’s a lot more late-game spice to his already chaotic kit.
Ranked & Monthly Madness Incoming
Oh, and Season 9 isn’t just about new toys. Bandai Namco’s also bringing a monthly ranked match system and limited-time events to keep players sweating all year round.
