Doloc Town has officially left Early Access today, 6 August 2026, with its full 1.0 launch on Steam.

The cosy post-apocalyptic farming sim now includes its complete main story, a new explorable region, farming automation and expanded localisation. It also arrives with a 20% launch discount until 19 August.

Developed by RedSaw Games and published by Logoi Games, Doloc Town has spent more than a year growing through Early Access. During that time, it received four major content updates and earned a 95% positive rating on Steam.

Not bad for a game about planting crops among the remains of civilisation.

Doloc Town Blends Cosy Farming With Post-Apocalyptic Mystery

Doloc Town drops players into a colourful world where nature has started reclaiming the ruins of a fallen civilisation.

Starting with very little, players can grow crops, raise animals and rebuild their own corner of the world. However, farming is only part of the job.

You can also explore the overgrown wilderness, customise drone companions and uncover the mysteries hidden beneath the surface. Its hand-drawn pixel art combines cosy farming with a world that clearly has a few secrets left buried.

As per the press release, the developers wanted Doloc Town to feel warm enough to lose an afternoon in, while still giving players plenty of reasons to keep exploring.

“When we first launched into Early Access, Doloc Town was a promise,” said RedSaw Games producer Yao Fan.

“Over the past year, our players helped us shape exactly what that promise should look like. Today, with 1.0, we get to deliver on it fully.”

What Is New in Doloc Town 1.0?

The 1.0 release brings Doloc Town’s post-apocalyptic main story to its conclusion. Players can finally see the narrative through to its full ending after following its development throughout Early Access.

A new area called the Old City Ruins has also been added. It features new enemies, NPCs, side quests and resources to discover.

Meanwhile, the new farming automation system lets players streamline parts of their daily workload. That should leave more time for exploration, relationships and poking around abandoned ruins where nothing suspicious could possibly happen.

Players can also upgrade their main farm to its final expansion level. Two additional farming territories are available across other areas of the world.

The update adds a new town event and expands friendship quests with Doloc Town’s residents. Steam Achievements, visual improvements and a range of quality-of-life changes are included too.

Beta localisation is now available in Japanese, Korean, Russian, French, German and Brazilian Portuguese. These join the existing English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese options.

A Year of Early Access Updates

Doloc Town first entered Early Access on 8 May 2025.

Since then, four major updates have expanded the game. Pastoral Waves, Thrive & Ties, Harvest Fusion and Steam Workshop integration introduced features such as animal husbandry, fish farming, deeper relationships, gene systems, town festivals and mod support.

Player feedback helped shape each update, with the 1.0 release now bringing those additions together alongside the final story content.

Doloc Town is available now on Steam. It is also part of the Wholesome Games Steam Celebration and is discounted by 20% until 19 August.
