The end of the world is about to get even weirder. Deadly Days: Roadtrip — the chaotic zombie survival roguelike where your inventory management skills matter just as much as your aim — is rolling onto Steam Early Access on September 22, 2025.

Gamescom Pit Stop

The game just had a proper showing at gamescom 2025, where it wasn’t just hiding in the PC Pro Arena but also popping up on stage with live presentations. Fans got to take the wheel early, steering their band of misfit survivors through pixelated undead chaos.

The Knabe Kola Connection

Now here’s a twist: Deadly Days: Roadtrip has teamed up with Knabe Kola, the fizzy brainchild from HandOfBlood’s universe (with INSTINCT3 tagging along). At gamescom, visitors went on a treasure hunt to unlock Präsident Knabe — complete with his own in-game Knabe Kola item. Because nothing says “zombie apocalypse” like downing a suspicious can of mystery soda.

And due to popular demand, Pixelsplit and Sidekick Publishing are making this collab global. Starting launch day, everyone can redeem Präsident Knabe and his bubbly buff item with a special code.

Fresh Faces on the Roadtrip

To top things off, a new trailer dropped at Gamestar’s FIND YOUR NEXT GAME show, spotlighting some of the delightfully oddball survivors you’ll recruit along the way. It’s a reminder that while zombies are deadly, your squad is even deadlier — in the most unhinged ways possible.
