Indie developer Zed Zeek has released a demo of his new game, Asunder II, for PC. The demo is available now on Steam, with the full release scheduled for November.

Asunder II is a dark-humored, real-time hack-and-slash action RPG set on a fantasy island. The three main protagonists awaken to find themselves trapped inside the same body. They can split apart for a limited time, but this situation is far from ideal. Your quest is to remove this curse from your party.

Features

  • Party Swapping: Switch between your party members at will, or split them apart to tackle particularly difficult foes as a group.
  • Viewpoints: Swap between various camera methods, such as a standard isometric view, an over-the-shoulder view, or a bird’s-eye view.
  • Open World: Explore an open world with multiple smaller sub-dungeons that observe a day/night cycle.
  • Pacing: The game is more challenging than most similar titles, but you can pause at any time to craft a new health potion, hire a mercenary, or use magic buffs to aid you.
  • Lots More: The game has been in development for over a decade, and the developer has included many features that even he has forgotten.
