Monster Hunter might be one of the most bonkers franchises going, not simply for the nature of the gameplay being hunt monsters, to get their bones, to use to hunt bigger monsters. The Capcom franchise LOVES a crossover event, with some highlights being Geralt from the Witcher rocking up to show you how hunting is done, and costumes based on Ryu, Dante and even Megaman. Now though it looks like the Monter Hunter team are gearing up for something even more unique. Shown last night at the Tokyo Game Show, Switch title Monster Hunter Rise will be getting some new updates, one based around classic and hard as nails game Ghosts n’ Goblins.
