Conan the Barbarian enters our own world to do battle with the great monsters of IKEA, Aeroplanes, and Vacuum cleaners. At least, that’s what we see in a new set of adverts for ‘Conan Exiles’, the open-world survival game set in the ‘Conan’ universe, which releases this week.

When asked to comment on his new environment, Conan offered a few words:
“I have found a book ten times more diabolical than the Necronomicon or the moldering scrolls of Skelos. It’s called ‘Assembly Instructions’.”
“Conan Exiles challenges gamers to survive, build, and dominate in his world.” Say publisher Funcom “We figured it would be fun if we turned it around and threw Conan into a world of Scandinavian furniture, robot vacuum cleaners, and airplanes. Conclusion? We hopefully players will fare better in his world.”
Conan: Exiles releases on the 8th of May on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
