The much-anticipated mobile entry of the Pokemon franchise has surprised fans by releasing a day earlier than advertised. The early release is global, prompting the idea that it was a deliberate action as opposed to a server-side issue.
That isn’t to say the Pokemon Masters servers aren’t having difficulties, though. Several users are reporting that the title is currently experiencing connection errors due to servers hitting capacity.
Pokemon Masters is a mobile experience that brings the series’ core battle mechanic to the phone. Allying with famous trainers like Brock and Gary Oak, players participate in three-on-three battles using their own and trainers’ Pokemon. The title is free to play, with micro-transactions, and available to download on the Google Play and Apple App Store now.
