Sony today announced that they are introducing a brand new video programme called State of Play and it begins Monday 25th March at 9pm GMT.
The information we know so far is that State of Play will be all about keeping everybody up to date on the latest news and announcements on everything PlayStation. Sony have said that the first episode will focus on upcoming PS4 and PS VR software that will include new trailers, gameplay footage and new game announcements.
This appears to be a new long running series of videos that will start this Monday and will be available to watch on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter and Facebook.
It certainly feels as if Sony are taking a page out of the Nintendo playbook with this move and also fits in with them deciding to skip E3 to focus on making announcements on their own. Personally I look forward to see what Sony deliver here and will definitely be watching this when it streams live.
