Developer Epic Games has confirmed that update 4.3 will be released today.
There will be some server downtime to allow time for the update however it has not been confirmed how long the downtime will run for.The update will include quality-of-life improvements such as a challenge progress notification system. Once implemented, players will see messages pop up during matches as they complete objectives, making it much easier to know where they stand toward finishing a given challenge.
The update is also likely to add the newly announced Shopping Cart to Fortnite. This is a vehicle that we’re still unsure you can ride. We’ll know soon it seems.
Another new feature announced for Fortnite is a limited-time Playground mode, which features friendly fire and respawns, a great mode to hone those skills.
This update will not incorporate season 4.
