Dust off your spellbooks and channel your inner 90s shooter fan, because Wizordum is making the leap to consoles on September 23, 2025. Thanks to a new partnership between Infogrames (yep, under Atari) and Apogee Entertainment, the pixel-powered fantasy FPS will be landing on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S for $19.99.
Retro FPS With a Magical Twist
Already blasting its way across PC via Steam and GOG, Wizordum sets players loose as a mighty Mage tasked with hunting down the source of Chaos. Forget your usual shotguns and machine guns — here, it’s all about wands, maces, fireballs, lightning bolts, and whatever other magical mayhem you can get your hands on.
Enemies? Expect the classics: goblins, skeletons, ghosts, and other sword-and-sorcery nasties standing between you and victory. Every weapon has upgrades, many with secondary attacks, so you can freeze, burn, or zap your foes into pixelated dust. Add in puzzles, traps, secret treasures, and hidden levels, and you’ve got plenty of reasons to explore every corner of Terrabruma.

A New Era for Infogrames & Apogee
This console release is more than just a port — it marks the start of a new publishing partnership between Infogrames and Apogee. The duo plans to bring more Apogee titles to modern consoles in both digital and physical formats, with Wizordum kicking things off as the first of many.
Coming September 23
Whether you’re on Switch, PlayStation, or Xbox, Wizordum is ready to scratch that retro-FPS itch when it lands September 23. PC players can still grab it on Steam and GOG if they want to start blasting early.
So if you like your shooters old-school, your spells flashy, and your skeletons plentiful, Wizordum might just be your next addiction.
