Ready to tangle with cultists, cannibal tribes, and a few divine riddles? Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness is getting its first major DLC expansion, Tales of the Moon Cult, landing on Steam this 22 October.
The Moon Rises, Trouble Follows
Set just after Chapter 4 of the main game, the DLC drags you headfirst into the schemes of the Cult of the Night Goddess. Your party will need to navigate questionable alliances, deadly dungeons, and some very suspect dinner invites as you try to stop Zoria’s fanatics from pulling the strings of Isilmerald.

What’s in the Box of Horrors?
- A chunky new questline: Work with the Royal Court and… let’s say “unreliable” allies to unearth the cult’s darkest secrets.
- Fresh side quests: From helping a dwarf chase his lifelong dream to sorting out a scholarly spat, there’s plenty to distract you from impending doom.
- New stomping grounds: Venture through Port Tarenis, Tiberius Vineyards, the Savage Island, and the ominously named Gloomhalls.
- Lore, riddles, and weird encounters: Expect puzzles, cryptic deities, and enough cult drama to make your head spin.
- Spells and shiny loot: Beef up your party with brand-new magic and gear.
A Darker Shade of RPG
Tales of the Moon Cult builds on the party-based CRPG’s signature mix of grim choices and branching narratives. Whether you’re a seasoned Black Geyser veteran or just fancy joining the cult chaos, this DLC promises more intrigue, more danger, and plenty of reasons to second-guess your allies.
Circle 22 October in your calendars, because the cult’s not waiting.
