Earlier today, an update to Pokemon Go added new lures to the game. These lures – known as the Magnetic, Mossy, and Glacial lures – attract specific types of Pokemon, and allow for the evolution of Magnezone, Probopass, Leafeon and Glaceon.
The new lures are currently only available in the Pokemon Go store, at a price of 200 PokeCoins each – but anyone in the vicinity of these lures may utilise their evolution potential, if they have enough of the relevant candy. Niantic also revealed that the special lures will be given out as Special Research Task rewards later this year as well.
In addition to the lures and new evolutions, the update also added Cherubi, Gible, Hippopotas, Burmy, and Garchomp to the game.
