Marvel Rivals is trading capes for carnage this spooky season. Straight from gamescom Asia and the Thailand Game Show, Marvel Games and NetEase Games have lifted the lid on a brand-new limited-time Zombie Mode, bringing a PvE twist to the fast-paced Super Hero team shooter.
Revealed during Marvel Games exec Danny Koo’s keynote, this mode drops players into a zombified Midtown New York-now crawling with the undead and under siege from none other than Zombie Namor and the Queen of the Dead. As per the press release, the game takes a cue from Marvel Zombies to let you live out your most heroic survival fantasies.
Zombie Mode: Marvel Mayhem Meets Undead Madness
Under the eerie eye of Khonshu, you’ll team up with a squad of Super Heroes to fend off endless waves of the infected. Playable characters include Thor, Blade, Magik, Jeff, and The Punisher, each armed with fresh, zombie-crushing abilities.
- Jeff barrels through mobs with unstoppable force.
- Blade goes full vampire hunter with bouncing Moon Blades.
- Thor enters an Awakened state and zaps zombies into dust.
- Magik unleashes her full Darkchild fury-indefinitely.
- And The Punisher? Well, he’s always ready for a fight.
Boss fights include undead heavy-hitters like Zombie Namor and the sinister Queen herself. You’ll need skill, teamwork, and a lot of ammo to survive the chaos and stop her evil plot in its tracks.
