Indie dev Burgee Media just dropped a chunky new update for their ambitious single-player MMO-like Erenshor, and it’s a big one. The brand-new zone, Blooming Sepulcher, is now live on Steam, and it’s packed with quests, secrets, and a healthy dose of existential fantasy dread—just how we like it.
What’s Blooming in the Sepulcher?
The update adds a sprawling new area that picks up where Vitheo’s Rest left off. If you’ve already cleared that zone, you’ll be heading back in to unlock the path forward. Blooming Sepulcher is tuned for players around levels 18 to 35 and includes content that stretches into endgame territory, so whether you’re mid-grind or fully kitted out, there’s plenty to chew on.
Highlights of the Update:
- A new zone filled with story-rich quests, hidden secrets, and one big, bad boss
- Lore expansion tying together Fernalla’s arc with the mysteries of Vitheo’s Rest
- Solo, not lonely: Erenshor continues to serve classic MMO vibes (loot, zones, exploration) in a chilled, single-player format
- Simulated Players get upgrades—they can now chill on rooftops or take a breather mid-session, making the world feel more alive
- Fresh loot & achievements up for grabs, naturally
A Solo MMO That Keeps Evolving
Erenshor might look like an MMORPG at a glance, but it’s crafted entirely for solo play—no guild drama, no queues, no DPS meters. You play at your pace, on your terms, with that same slow-burn sense of worldbuilding and exploration old-school MMO fans miss.
Where to Get It
Erenshor is currently in Early Access on Steam, and the Blooming Sepulcher update is live now. Just hop in and download the latest patch to start exploring.

There’s an AMA happening this Thursday at 10am Eastern over on Reddit’s r/pcgaming, where Burgee Media will be fielding questions about the game’s development, future plans, and probably at least one question about how to pronounce “Vitheo.”
You can also join the official Erenshor Discord to swap tips, share theories, or suggest your dream feature. Or head to Burgee Media’s website for the latest updates straight from the devs.
Go on then—there’s a sepulcher blooming and it’s not going to explore itself.
