Time to polish your headshots and prep the loadouts — Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are dropping Season 05 on August 7, and it’s looking like one of the most chaotic updates yet.

Four New Maps and Some Familiar Favourites

Season 05 kicks off with three fresh Multiplayer maps — Runway, Exchange, and World Motor Dynasty — all tailored for fast-paced, Pantheon-hunting fun. Mid-season, we’re heading to Jackpot, which sounds suspiciously like a casino map. We’re already picturing firefights over slot machines.

And yes, modes like Snipers Only and Cranked Moshpit are back alongside the new Aim High, which is exactly what it sounds like: headshots or bust.

Zombies Gets Dramatic

This season marks the conclusion of the Black Ops 6 Zombies storyline with The Reckoning. Janus Towers is under siege, Richtofen and S.A.M. are at odds, and it’s time to settle some undead scores.

You’ll get to mess with the Gorgofex, a Wonder Weapon that’s part space bug, part mushroom, all murder. Grief Arenas, new objective modes, and a bunny-themed Field Upgrade round out the chaos.

Warzone’s Got a Stadium Problem

Over in Warzone, things are heating up at Verdansk Stadium. There’s a new contract to complete, mysterious tech to uncover, and two new Limited Time Modes — Stadium Resurgence and Deadline — that are built for pure adrenaline. Oh, and a Satellite Hijack feature if you’re into stealing from orbit.

Loadouts & Loot

New weapons are on the way, including the ABR A1 Assault Rifle, PML 5.56 LMG, Boxing Gloves (seriously), and the Gravemark .357 Revolver later in the season. Also incoming is a 9mm Skull Splitter attachment and a new Combat Bow Scorestreak for when arrows > bullets.

Sims Returns with a Battle Pass Full of Mayhem

Lawrence Sims headlines the Season 05 Battle Pass, joined by the almost-too-good Solace in the BlackCell offering. Fancy a bit of horror? There’s a bundle themed around The Replacer, and another nodding to I Know What You Did Last Summer.
