This week on Trash Talk, the column where I scour Reddit for the most interesting video gaming topic: What game do you always complete to 100%?
I feel like it’s an obvious pick but purely for the strength of the game’s combat and writing, I’m going to say God of War. Exploring Midgard and branching out into segments of other Realms, collecting treasure and uncovering new Tales from Brok and Sindri always feels so deeply rewarding in every playthrough.
The game’s great visuals and hugely satisfying combat make every minute a pleasure to play. The banter between Kratos, Atreus and Mimir, as well the latter’s wealth of world building and entertaining stories, mean travelling between locations is never a dull affair further incentivising players to spend more time in the world.
