Halloween is OVER. (depending when you read this as it’s actually most likely tomorrow) and the Winter is here! It’s finally time to kick back, stick the fire on and get stuck into some purely guiltfree game time.
“But what’s coming out in November that could be worth my time” – I hear you internet and I am here to help with my top 5 hyped games for November 2019.
HMMMMM I genuinely don’t know about this one if I’m totally honest. I worry that unfettered Hideo Kojima might be a little too much and the usage of random celebrities like Conan ‘Obrien has me really worried and coupled with the random advertisements in the game it seems like it COULD be a bit of a mess…
But November is a slow month so here we are with the number 5 most hyped game slot.
Age of Empires 2 was DA BOMB back in the day. Remastered visuals and still the same tactical city building gameplay? Sign me the fuck up.
I have a very very well documented love for the Yakuza series and I have gone on the record as saying that I think it’s one of, if not THE, best series on available on PS4.
Thus my excitement for Shenmue 3 has reached it’s peak in honesty. Cited as proto-Yakuza game and the series that started it all, I cannot wait to dive into a series I have totally missed with TWO WHOLE GAMES to play before the 3rd one releases, I best get cracking.
I have specifically highlighted Pokemon Sword here because Shield doesn’t have Sir Fetched in it so as far as I am concerned it is the far inferior version of the game. Fuck Pokemon Shield.
When the Switch was announced, I had my reservations but I always said that I would buy the console once a Pokemon game came out for it (yes I caved and bought my Switch a y ear before this but shut your mouth I couldn’t wait on Zelda any longer)
I get that a load of people are somewhat hesitant about the removal of a load of the Pokemon in the game which goes against the whole “Gotta Catch ‘em All” ethos that the game has built over the years but you know what? I don’t care – I haven’t completed a game since I completed Pokemon Gold so I am so hyped for this and Ill take whatever Pokemon I can get my hands on…
Also… did I mention Sir Fetched?
Was it really going to be anything else? It’s a god damn Star Wars game with Dark Souls style progression systems and meaty, god of war like combat. I mean FUCK. This game has filled my hype meter for it more and more all year – PLEEEEEASE Respawn and EA… Don’t fuck this up.
