WarioWare Gold Collection Announced for Nintendo 3DS – Launching July 27th!!

A WarioWare collection has just been announced for the Nintendo DS! With over 300 microgames included, this mega-collection aims to be the largest-ever collection of WarioWare titles! The game launches July 27th!!

Dilon’s Dead Heat Breakers brings Starfox-esque charm to tactical strategy RPG’s!

A brand new game was announced for the Nintendo 3DS – Dilon’s Dead Heat Breakers; this Starfox-like title pits players as Dilon, a rough-n-tough, quickdrawing armadillo who’s journey brings him through numerous different gameplay styles! From racing, to tactical strategy, to a somewhat mystery dungeon-looking gamemode, there’s sure to be lots to keep you occupied as you blast through your opponents!

Not only that, but you can pit your Mii’s as animalised gunners to aid you in your conflicts through the game’s various modes and story mode. A release date was not announced.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story is getting a remaster and expansion on Nintendo 3DS!

You heard it here folks! Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser JR’s Journey (Whew, what a title!) is being released for the Nintendo 3DS with many of the quality of life and gameplay upgrades seen in the Superstar Saga remake earlier last year – This anticipated remake is coming in 2019!

Detective Pikachu gets a brand-spanking new trailer, and a larger-than-life Amiibo!

Launching March 23rd, Detective Pikachu brings a bit of comedy and mystery to the Pokemon franchise; follow Tim and Pikachu across numerous cases, investigating the source of many Pokemon’s sudden manic outbursts… To coincide with the launch of the game, an “XL” Amiibo was announced, sitting at 13.6cm as opposed to the traditional 7.1cm Amiibo height! Wowzers! The game is available to pre-purchase on the Nintendo 3DS eShop now.

Luigi’s Mansion 1 gets a breath of new life on the Nintendo 3DS!

It seems that Nintendo have been heavy on remakes, as the original Luigi’s Mansion heads to Nintendo 3DS in 2018 – This updated version of the game provides players with touch controls, and a map on the touch screen to help navigate, alongside a new Boss Rush Mode to challenge long-time fans!

Kirby Star Allies sees familiar friends and fearsome foes become allies!

Not too much new information was announced regarding Kirby Star Allies, which releases March 16th; one of the main announcements was the inclusion of various villains and comrades that’ll join you as allies throughout your journey, including Bandana Waddle Dee, King Dedede, Meta Knight, and a whole slew of new characters, being made available as free DLC updates; Pack 1 will launch March 28th.

Okami HD coming to Nintendo Switch!

That’s right! Okami HD, originally one of Sony’s most unique franchises is coming to Nintendo Switch!! Featuring every update to the remaster, this title also boasts motion controls, and touchscreen controls! Okami HD launches on the Nintendo Switch eShop this Summer.

Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido announced!

This cute little indie game sets players in the boots of Sushimi, who must learn the forbidden ways of Sushido to heal the wounds of the bitter Sushi Struggles of old… Eat different types of Sushi to out-roll your opponents – The game sea-weeds’ it’s way onto Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS on June 8th! (Cross-Play not supported)

Project Octopath Traveller gets a brand new trailer, collector’s edition, and two new characters!!

Project Octopath Traveller just got a new trailer, featuring two new characters; Tressa, a merchant searching the land for purpose and self-worth, who has the ability to purchase and swindle people’s items, and Alfyn, an Apothecary who is seeking cures and elixirs for the world’s diseases and ailments, who has the ability to soothe people and get information that normally wouldn’t be available with his soft friendly persona.

On-top of this, a Collector’s Edition was announced, featuring a popup book diorama featuring each of the eight playable characters, a world map, a hefty art book and a replica currency coin…

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes gets a new trailer, detailing game modes!

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes got a brand-spanking new trailer detailing most of the 7 new gamemodes featured in the game, each with a fearsome and kooky boss at the end of them! Partner up with a friend in co-op, and adventure in the intuitively named ‘Adventure Mode’ with a brand new story… Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes releases in 2018 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

Dark Souls: Remastered is getting a Network Demo Test, and… A Solaire Amiibo…?!

That’s right! Dark Souls: Remastered is getting not only a demo, but also a Solaire Amiibo… That lets you use the Praise the Sun gesture wherever and whenever you want… And that’s just…

Mario Tennis Aces gets the Direct limelight, showing off brand new moves, tournaments, and characters!

Mario Tennis Aces got the bulk of the screentime during this Direct, showing off a majority of it’s gameplay systems, matchmaking tools and even the entire roster of characters! Players can swing their rackets as Mario, Luigi, Wario, Peach, Rosalina, Yoshi, Daisy, DK, Bowser, Chain Chomp, Boo, Bowser JR, Toadette and Toad across a number of lush, detailed stages…

Mario Tennis Aces launches June 22nd, with a free prelaunch online tournament demo coming soon.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker finds it’s way to Nintendo Switch with new Super Mario Odyssey themed content!

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was one of those oddball titles on the Wii U that never really got the time it deserved… So it’s taking it’s cake and eating it twice dammit! Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker brings the whole experience to the Nintendo Switch, featuring new stages based off of the various Super Mario Odyssey kingdoms! The game also features co-op, where one player controls Toad / Toadette, and another aims their turnips to snipe oncoming obstacles or threats.

The game’s also making it’s way to the Nintendo 3DS soon too!

The Nintendo Switch version of the game is launching July 13th.

Splatoon 2 Ver. 3.0. Announced, DLC Pack 1 Announced, and future Free Updates Announced!!

Splatoon 2’s Version 3.0. Update is coming thick & fast!! Arriving in late April, this update will introduce over 100 new pieces of clothing, 3 new stages, and a slew of new weapons and upgrades to the base game, making the most definitive version of Splatoon 2 to date!

A brand new, dark-looking single-player DLC pack entitled the “Octo Expansion” was announced, introducing 80 brand new single player levels, a new “Xtreme” Rank that blows past the boundary of the Ranked Match cap currently available, and allows you to play as Octolings in Multiplayer! This new DLC delves into the subways of Inkopolis, and the dark, dank corners of society, filled to the brim with nasty-looking baddies, mob bosses and… Sweaty trains… Ew…

Play as Agent 8, a brand new character who’s lost their memories as they regain their freedom… Also, after certain conditions have been met in single player, Calie will appear in Octo Canyon! Long live the Year of the Octoling!

The Octo Expansion pack is set to launch this Summer, with a full Expansion Pass being made available in the coming hours / days.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch Announced – Splatoon’s Squid Girl & Squid Boy, along with Link’s Breath of the Wild version announced as fighters!
